Be the change you want to see in the world!

Today I wanted to share something I found whilst bloghopping. It was something that really moved me and I wanted to share it with you all and invite you to  join in.This project speaks of love and hate and educates people about the Holocaust. It honours both Victims and survivors.
1,500,000 CHILDREN died in the Holocaust. OMG what a staggering figureThe Butterfly effect will honour their memory by displaying 1,500,000 handmade butterflies that will be displayed in the museum of Spring 2013.What a wonderous site it will be to behold and hopefully touch the world  and keep hate and Predjudice from rearing it's ugly head   . Trudy has asked the blogging world to join her in this project  which you can read all about  HERE or you can go directly to The Butterfly Project,Holocaust Museum Houston

Halloween/Witch ATC-Magic Happens

Calling all Atc addicts..MY cousin Lisa has just started a new atc swaps blog called readygetsetcraft. She is doing a round robin swap so the most you have to make is 9 and they will be swapped out by Lisa. The theme is COSTUME.With mine I have painted the background.I painted in some trees but after I glued the image on thought it looked a bit weird and would've been better without them, but never mind..I used an Inkadoo stamp 96253 for the flourish with Tim Holtz distress powder in milled lavender. The image I found on the net from Immortalia .We would just love you to come join in the swap signup is HERE

Atlantic wonder-Sweet pea stamps

For this one I got out my beads and embossing powders and had a bit more of a play with polished pigments  and paint.I only used the tombow pens on the skin tone and background..I heat embossed my stamp this time and it was much better as i had been having trouble with smudging. So i think i will heat emboss from now on.The Sweet Pea stamp is Dark royalty. This one is going to my daughter Brittany as it reminds me of her plus I always tell her she's a mermaid

Midnight Waiting

This time i've used another Sweet pea stamp named Midnight Waiting from the ching'chou kuik's fantasy range. These would have to be my absolute favourite stamps.

I've photographed her in the shade and in the full sunlight so you can see all the gold in the colours i've used.
